Dahn the Docks

A 50 min documentary about the colourful London Docks, focusing particularly on Surrey Docks, pictured here by the luftwaffe during the blitz.

Many of the people who lived in the area and who worked as dockers are now in their 80's and 90's, and this programme intends to capture their fascinating tales and experiences whilst still in living memory.

As well as their testimony, there are contributions planned from the Museum of London, the Imperial War Museum, former staff of the LDDC and local history groups.
